The Ocean Gets Something Back
Every field operation carries real conservation work alongside the treasure hunt — this isn't a separate initiative, it's the same trip.
Approach
Not A Side Project
We don't run dedicated cleanup trips and survey trips as two different things — the same boats, the same sensors, and the same crew do both on every deployment. Abandoned fishing gear gets cut free when we find it. Water-quality and habitat data get logged whether or not the day's target was ever found.
On Every Trip
What This Actually Looks Like
01Ghost Net RecoveryROV-assisted location and cutting-free of abandoned fishing gear encountered during survey work.
02Pollution LoggingBoat-mounted sensors log water-quality and pollution readings alongside every survey track, not as a separate trip.
03Seagrass & Habitat MonitoringSide-scan and photogrammetry passes double as habitat-boundary documentation where they overlap.
