Targeted Search & Recovery

Locating and retrieving lost anchors, outboard motors, jewelry, or dropped tools using a subsea metal detector, 4K camera, and robotic arm.

Overview

What This Involves

Most lost-item searches are solvable with the right search pattern and the right tool, not a diver sweeping blind. We run a subsea metal detector and 4K camera survey over the likely drop zone, then recover the item directly with a robotic arm fitted with magnets or hooks as the object requires — an anchor, an outboard, or something as small as a dropped tool or piece of jewelry.

Method

How It's Done

01

Drop-zone estimate established from the client's account of the incident

02

Subsea metal detector and camera search pattern run across the estimated area

03

Target confirmed visually before recovery

04

Recovery via robotic arm, magnet, or hook depending on the object

Output

Deliverable

The recovered item, or a documented search record if the object isn't located within the agreed search scope.

Fit

Who It's For

Vessel owners and marina users who've lost an anchor, outboard, tool, or valuable overboard.
